Barn find? Well not exactly, but close. D&P customer Dave H. found this very original 1969 Z28 near Chicago back in the 70s. The vintage muscle car was bought new by a mechanic at a Chevrolet dealership. After years of street racing and some time on the strip the Camaro was retired to a garage where is sat until purchased by Dave in the 70’s. There wasn’t any time to restore the Camaro so there it sat until Dave relocated to the West Coast. After moving west Dave finally had the time to dig out the old Camaro and ship it west. Dave contacted the crew at D&P and scheduled a complete body-off-the frame restoration for his prized Z. Dave wanted the Camaro restored back to it’s orignal color of Olympic gold. This old Camaro is now cruising the streets of Northern California enjoying it’s new life.
